Introduction

TOMCO retail construction is a Texas based, national general contractor and construction management company. Specifically, we specialize in the retail, restaurant and hospitality industries.

Also, we are an SBA Certified Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) and corporate chapter members of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).

The TOMCO Mission

On one hand, our mission is to change the status quo of retail general contracting, to create unique competition and strengthen the core of women in the construction business.

Equally important, we seek to provide excellent general contracting and construction management services to our high end retail and commercial clients in a fair, client-first and employee-first way.

Our Strength

In fact, our daily construction operations and financial management teams are managed by women with years of industry experience.  Also, over 80% of our total staff is female.

Furthermore, our licensing qualifier, Jennifer Erickson, holds general contractor licenses in 14 of the 21 states that require them as well as county licenses in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and New Jersey. 

In addtion, TOMCO and Jennifer are NASCLA, ICC and OSHA certified.

Our Partners

TOMCO's business partners have included Gap, Inc. Sephora USA, Lens Crafters, Harvest House of Cannabis, Bambu Desserts & Drinks, Sunglass Hut, Daltile and Edleman's Leather. 

Accordingly, our projects have varied in both size and scope including thousands of remodels, rollouts, white box build-outs, closures and other specialty projects.

Moving Forward

Finally, it's important that we mirror the progressive values and cultures of our retail and restaurant partners.  Therefore, we will continue to grow our team using ethical workplace standards.  In addition, we will continue to develop, grow and improve upon our employee driven mentorship programs.

Last, we will continue to position ourselves as female leaders in the construction industry.  We will do this by engaging, supporting and participating in the initiatives that are forefront in propelling women forward.
